Ambulatory Office Supervisor - Children's Medical Group

Supervises and coordinates activities and employees of applicable ambulatory office.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities related to patient care activities within the ambulatory office.
• Provides daily supervision to staff to ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
• Maintains functional knowledge of operational areas and is able to step into staffing as needed.
• Ensures that patient satisfaction is being met and reported to Manager or Director any issues.
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Requirements

• EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of health care experience.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing carts, positioning patients, less than 50% of work time. May require bending and stretching movements.

• Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
