SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION:
Supervises and coordinates activities and employees of applicable ambulatory office.
- Provides daily supervision to staff to ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
- Maintains functional knowledge of operational areas and is able to step into staffing as needed.
- Ensures that patient satisfaction is being met and reported to Manager or Director any issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of health care experience.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position.

- Supervises and coordinates activities related to patient care activities within the ambulatory office.
- Provides daily supervision to staff to ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
- Makes sure daily operations adhere to documented administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
- Coaches and counsels staff based on performance management principles.
- Identifies ongoing educational needs of employees.
- Communicates status of daily operations to Manager or Director as well as communicates problems hindering workflow to Manager or Director in a timely manner.
- Handles patient/family or staff complaints, investigates complaints and makes recommendations on appropriate resolution.
- Coordinates resolution of problems with other departments as monitored by Manager or Director.
- Organizes and executes daily tasks in appropriate priority to achieve optimal productivity, accountability and efficiency.
- Assists with annual budget process.
- Selects, hires, manages and evaluates the effectiveness of employees on a continuous basis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to assist patients and move equipment and supplies.
- Lifting up to 60 pounds, pushing carts, positioning patients, less than 50% of work time.
- May require bending and stretching movements.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Regular and constant exposure to communicable disease and bloodborne pathogens.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
