Ambulatory Nursing, Allergy Immunology & Rheumatology (AIR) - Assistant Nurse Manager – Rheumatology and Infusion

Responsibilities

• Supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care.
• Serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service.
• Participates in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing’s visibility and future.
• Provides expert patient care.
• Ledges patient and staff scheduling to optimize workflows and enhance the patient experience.
• Empowers staff and patients through education and orientation.
• Aids in the strategic planning for the evolving needs of the department.
• Ensures growth and excellence in Rheumatology and Infusion services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
• Current RN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in a leadership role, such as Assistant Nurse Manager or similar.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
