Ambulatory Nurse (RN) Arrhythmia Center

Join the growing Arrhythmia Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center as an RN supporting a specialized cardiology team of 7 providers. This role focuses on patient triage, managing patient inquiries, in-basket, coordinating care, providing education, and supporting clinical processes including anticoagulation clearances and FMLA/disability paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑office and/or remote interrogations and any necessary reprogramming of cardiac devices.
• Interpret arrhythmias, troubleshoot, and reprogram settings of pacemakers and defibrillators according to patient needs and department protocols.
• Independently document instances of patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Assure accuracy and completeness of documentation and adherence to billing guidelines.
• Perform independent daily reviews of remote transmissions from implanted devices.
• Complete trans‑telephonic checks on patient devices requiring follow‑up between office visits to assess basic function and patient status.
• Correlate device information with the patient’s clinical condition to assist in arrhythmia management.
