About the role
Ambulatory Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care in an outpatient setting. This position is safety-sensitive, emphasizing alertness and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to develop and update care plans
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Support provider documentation
- Educate patients and families using appropriate tools
- Provide oversight and guidance to clinical staff
- Assist providers with daily patient management
- Deliver direct patient care
- Support clinical team
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Contribute to positive patient outcomes in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- RN license
- BLS certification
- 2-5 years of experience (ideal)
- Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills
