Ambulatory Nurse

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, collaborating with providers and the care team to develop and implement effective care plans that ensure high-quality, cost-effective treatment. Supports clinical staff and assists providers with daily patient management, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and compliance standards. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, compliance, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to optimize patient outcomes and promote wellness.
• Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills.
• Ensure proper documentation of assessments and treatments in accordance with protocols and compliance guidelines.
• Educate and support patients and families through verbal and written instructions, utilizing appropriate assessment tools.
• Maintain a safety-conscious work environment, demonstrating alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, with RN licensure.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience; experience in supervisory roles is not required.
• Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week on a day shift.
