As an ambulatory clinic professional registered nurse, you have the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for delivering nursing care using the nursing process. The RN accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge, and uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and delegated health care providers to achieve quality patient care outcomes. You must also assess and interpret patient data to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • BLS Certification
  • Registered nurse – licensed in the state of employment; proof of compact licensure submitted/applied for in the state of residence
  • Basic typing and word processing ability
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Must secure a Nurse Compact License (NCL) within 60 days of hire (employee responsible for associated expenses)

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
