Job Summary

Sought is a qualified Pharmacist to:

• Directly manage daily operations and has legal binding through Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) licensure to ensure the unit meets departmental and organizational goals.
• Participate in the routine supervision and training of Pharmacist and technical staff related to daily operations of drug distribution.
• Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians.
• Review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered.
• Maintain inventory and records on narcotics and other forms of drugs.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Electronic Medical Record experience
• Pharmacy operating system experience

Preferred Education/Experience

• PharmD + 1 year of Pharmacy Management experience
• Previous ambulatory/retail management experience or equivalent preferred
