Amazon Supply Chain Manager (Hybrid)

Job Summary

Purple is seeking an Amazon Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to own end-to-end Amazon marketplace inventory operations as we scale our presence on the platform. This role is directly accountable for FBA replenishment planning, demand forecasting, in-stock rate performance, and out-of-stock risk mitigation across Purple’s mattress and pillow assortment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Own FBA replenishment planning end-to-end, including shipment creation, inbound routing, and fulfilment center placement, while monitoring daily in-stock rates by ASIN and proactively resolving out-of-stock risks before they impact sales.
• Manage Amazon storage limits, IPI score health, and stranded inventory to optimize FBA capacity and avoid long-term storage fees; determine and maintain appropriate safety stock levels by SKU based on lead times, sales velocity, and seasonal demand patterns.
• Evaluate FBA vs. FBM/Seller-Fulfilled Prime decisions for oversized and non-standard SKUs (critical for Purple's mattress catalog).

Required Skills, Education, Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in Amazon Seller Central operations, eCommerce inventory management, or supply chain planning.
• Demonstrated experience managing FBA replenishment, restock limits, and IPI score optimization in a 3P Seller Central environment.
• Experience with oversized or bulky FBA categories (furniture, bedding, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Background working cross-functionally with logistics, warehousing, or 3PL teams to execute inventory plans.
• Experience building demand forecasts at the SKU or ASIN level using sales data and market signals.
