About the role
We are looking for an Amazon Certified Cloud Solutions Architect with deep, hands-on experience in containerization technologies to design, implement, and scale modern cloud-native solutions on AWS. This role is ideal for architects who enjoy building and experimenting, delivering proofs of concept (POCs), and translating ideas into scalable, production-ready architectures. You will work across a variety of environments, including innovation initiatives, startup customers, and cloud modernization programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Design and implement containerized workloads using:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
- Amazon ECS / AWS Fargate
- Build and deliver POCs, pilots, and MVPs with rapid turnaround
- Design microservices-based architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance best practices
- Document architectures, patterns, and operational guidelines
- Advise customers on cloud strategy, cost optimization, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional - Required
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or advanced cloud engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration
- Proven experience deploying workloads on AWS
- Solid understanding of networking, IAM, security, and monitoring in AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Amazon EKS in production environments
- Knowledge of service meshes, observability, and logging stacks
- Experience supporting startup or innovation teams
- Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI workloads running in containers
- Familiarity with GitOps and modern DevOps practices
