Job Description
Restaurant servers work within a food and beverage outlet. Their responsibilities include greeting and servicing customers, describing items on the menu, taking food and beverage orders, serving and checking back with customers during the meal for any additional needs, providing checks, and taking payments. They must also work collaboratively with other restaurant employees to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for their customers.
Requirements
- Required: High school diploma
- Preferred: Some higher education
- Certifications: Preferred - First Aid, T.I.P.S, Serve Safe Certification
- Experience: Required - Minimum of 2 years experience as a restaurant server
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years hotel experience
- Special Qualifications: Must meet any city, county, state or other legal minimum age requirement to sell/serve alcoholic beverages
Benefits
Compensation: $7.38 plus tips
