Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) - TS/SCI

About the role

Piper Companies is hiring a Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) - TS/SCI for a small technology company located in Tysons, VA. The Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) - TS/SCI will need to have an active TS/SCI Clearance (polygraph is a plus) and is a contract opportunity with potential to convert permanent and does require you to work on site 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSOs)
• Prepare, review and issue DD254s
• Initiate and process security clearances
• Perform indoctrinations and program briefings
• Act as security administrators for the program
• Provide personnel escort for ICD build enhancements (existing and new spaces)

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Open to candidates transitioning from physical security to industrial security or those with some industrial security exposure
• Experience processing clearances in DISS or experience working with an AFSO is preferred

Compensation

• $90,000 - $130,000
• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and sick leave if required by law
