About the role

Piper Companies is hiring an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) – CI Polygraph for a worldwide technology company located in Reston, VA. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph, is a contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent, and requires on‑site work five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSOs)
• Prepare, review, and issue DD254s
• Initiate and process security clearances
• Perform indoctrinations and program briefings
• Act as security administrator for the program
• Provide personnel escort for ICD build enhancements (existing and new spaces)

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Open to candidates transitioning from physical security to industrial security or those with some industrial security exposure
• Experience processing clearances in DISS or working with an AFSO is preferred

Pay

$90,000 – $130,000
