Essential Functions
- Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local government laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare.
- Manages the effective delivery of all services provided.
- Serves as the Alternate Administrator and assumes the responsibilities and authority of the Administrator in the Administrator's absence to ensure the continued operation of the agency.
- Provides leadership by effectively communicating the business plan, representing the core values of the corporation, and ensuring responsible action is taken when issues and problems are identified.
- Develops sound customer objectives and strategies, identifies and meets/exceeds customer expectations, and maintains customer relationships in an ongoing effort to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction.
- Recruits and retains qualified employees and contractors and assesses their performance.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Conducts periodic field visits and home inspections to observe direct care delivery, verify compliance with individual service plans, and assess caregiver performance; documents findings and initiates corrective action as needed.
- Resolves employee or customer concerns or complaints.
- Implements, manages, and updates an agency-specific Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Plan.
- Educates employees about the Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Plan and their respective roles.
- Identifies opportunities for business growth in the local area.
- Develops and executes strategies to grow the agency's active client base and expand the network of referral sources and business partners who provide client leads.
- Cultivates and maintains ongoing relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, case managers, managed care organizations, community-based organizations, and other community partners.
- Tracks referral source activity and lead conversion, and reports on business development progress to the Administrator/owner on a regular basis.
- Coordinates with staffing and recruiting functions to help ensure caregiver capacity aligns with client growth.
- Works with the Administrator to establish and monitor progress toward client census and billable hours growth objectives.
- Identifies key customer/employee issues and community trends that may impact the results of the area both financially and non-financially.
- Develops and implements customer initiatives.
- Allocates resources within the budget to meet financial goals.
- Achieves defined objectives on budget, Net Operating Income (NOI), Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and revenues.
- Manages the overall operating results including pay/bill management, operating expense, and accounts receivable.
- Aids the Administrator in achieving annual budget and financial performance goals.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in the provision of personal care service.
- Have at least two (2) years of experience in caring for individuals with functional disabilities.
- Have business management experience that includes planning, staff supervision, and P&L responsibility.
- Maintain any professional licensure or certification required for the position, if applicable, and ensure such licensure or certification remains active and in good standing in accordance with state regulatory requirements.

Classification & Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. Annual salary: $72,000, paid weekly.
