Alterations Specialist

Welcome to David’s Bridal, where we believe that every dream deserves a fitting reality. As an Alterations Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping brides and special occasion wearers achieve their perfect look.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm, using clear communication and problem-solving skills.
• Manage customer flow to ensure a seamless and memorable shopping experience.
• Resolve customer concerns with confidence and know when to escalate issues to leadership.
• Promote all alteration services and personalization options to assist stylists in closing sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the alterations room.
• Perform duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent degree.
• One to two years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environments.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and lifting.

• Computer literacy, particularly with POS systems.

Pay

Starting rate of pay varies based on factors including position offered, location, training, and experience. The base pay range is $17-21/hr, specific to the state this role is posted in and may not be applicable to other locations.

Schedule

Minimal weekday hours required, join for weekends only.
