About the role
The paramedic serves as a team member of the advance life support transport team by utilizing their knowledge and skills to stabilize and move patients.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a professional image
- Provide comprehensive care to neonatal, pediatric, adult patients
- Maintains positive communication
- Adheres to regulations
- Completes accurate documentation
- Demonstrates competency in interfacility transport, emergent conditions, CRM, Just Culture, ICS
- General knowledge of Incident Command Systems
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years in 911 system
- Advanced airway management
- Completion of ALS Transport Concepts
- NIMS 100 and 200
Licenses/Certifications
- High School Diploma
- SC Paramedic Certification
- National Registered Paramedic
- Valid Driver’s License
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
