AlmaVia of San Francisco - Life Enrichment Coordinator (Temporary)

About the role

This is a temporary position, lasting approximately June 15 through August 14th, 2026. The role pays $28.32-$33.65/hr DOE.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers a diverse calendar of daily activities that meet the recreational and therapeutic needs of residents, enhancing overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director, other coordinators, volunteers, and interdisciplinary staff to provide well-rounded programs tailored to individual and group needs.
• Provides transportation for residents, with a focus on supporting frail individuals, using the community van or bus for medical appointments and community outings.
• Maintains positive, professional interactions with residents, families, coworkers, and management to ensure a warm and supportive environment that promotes service excellence.

Requirements

• Geriatric education or relevant experience required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long-term care, home care, or related setting.
• Strongly preferred: One (1) year experience in a long-term care, home care, or related setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; must be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Current First Aid certification in accordance with Title 22 requirements.
• Demonstrated positive work ethic and genuine compassion for older adults.
• Keep abreast of current state and federal laws and regulations relevant to long-term care facilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Office 365, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software, is expected.
