About the role

You will manage and optimize in-store inventory that drives sales, margin, and store performance through effective allocation strategies.
Responsibilities
- A hands-on training and onboarding program for your first weeks in which you will be placed in a business area to start applying your knowledge and skills.
- A mentor who will help guide and support you through training and beyond.
- A hybrid model that is 2-3 days in-office and 2-3 days remote per week. This schedule can be subject to change. (Relocation benefits are available for those who are eligible).
- Being a part of an onboarding class with peers who will be starting in the same role and start date as you. Classes typically begin in Winter or Summer months.
- Ensure the right merchandise is being sent to the right stores at the right times and in the right quantities to maximize sales.
- Manage and manipulate data and spreadsheets to analyze and accurately predict how merchandise should be allocated and distributed throughout the company.
- Work alongside Buying and Planning team members to understand the off-price business model and execute the business strategy effectively.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve allocation issues with appropriate individuals so that timely allocation of merchandise can be achieved.
- Escalate urgent errors or requests for clarification to the appropriate business partner.
- Reflect on and evaluate data to determine where improvements and changes can be made to the existing strategy.
- Ensure DC Reserve items are released in accordance with the scheduled weekly release plan.
- Collaborate for success; teamwork within our department is key to success and you will work with several functional areas within the department for input, ideas, and to execute your assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Merchandising and/or Business).
- Affinity for retail merchandising, planning, or allocations.
- Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data to make strategic allocation recommendations.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Data-driven problem-solver who can build and maintain productive partnerships by living our core values.
- Self-starter who takes initiative with a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and courage to always be a student of the business.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation.
Skills
- Ability to think critically with high attention to detail and listening, oral, and written communication skills.

Min-Mid $55,000.00 - $65,000.00
