About the role
Provides patient care under the supervision of a licensed dietitian. Assists in meal planning and preparation, and educates patients on nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Assists in meal planning and preparation
- Educates patients on nutrition
- Adheres to dietary guidelines and standards
- Monitors patient progress and reports to supervising dietitian
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RDN)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nutrition principles
