About the Role

Responsible for supporting interventional radiology procedures by preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring sterile techniques are followed.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and PACS systems.
• Assist with procedures including angioplasty, embolization, catheter exchanges, and line placements.
• Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and adhere to isolation and PPE protocols.
• Document procedures using Cerner and Merge PACS systems.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during complex interventions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years IR tech experience; first-time travelers accepted if highly experienced.
• Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS.
• Proficiency in sterile techniques, equipment setup, and various interventional procedures.
• Knowledge of equipment like Siemens systems and procedural protocols.
