About the role
Join our team as a full-time Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Technician, providing support during interventional radiological procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians, radiology technicians, and nurses with complex procedures.
- Coordinating daily departmental activities and performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in line with safety standards.
- Positioning patients, setting up equipment, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety.
- Performing interventional procedures under Radiologist or Vascular Surgeon supervision.
- Maintaining a sterile environment and practicing radiation safety.
- Utilizing radiographic and hospital computer systems effectively.
- Enhancing department efficiency through proper use of supplies, time management, and clerical duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of radiology technician experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
- NJ Diagnostic Radiology License and ARRT certification.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Preferred: Experience in Interventional or Cath lab settings.
