Allied Health Therapist

About the role

Deliver high-quality, person-centred allied health services to residents
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
Work collaboratively with nursing, lifestyle, and clinical teams to optimise resident outcomes
Support mobility, functional independence, pain management, and overall wellbeing
Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
Contribute to falls prevention, reablement, and restorative care programs
Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred allied health services to residents
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Work collaboratively with nursing, lifestyle, and clinical teams to optimise resident outcomes
• Support mobility, functional independence, pain management, and overall wellbeing
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Contribute to falls prevention, reablement, and restorative care programs
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements

• A recognised qualification in your allied health discipline
• Current AHPRA or relevant professional registration
• Experience in aged care, community health, or rehabilitation (preferred but not essential)
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
• A warm, empathetic approach and commitment to resident dignity
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, and proof of work rights in Australia

Qualifications
