Allergy and Immunology physician consultant

About the role

Liberty Healthcare Corporation, a physician‑owned organization with three decades of public health experience, is a Joint Commission Certified and CMS‑certified QIO‑like entity. The organization maintains a panel of physician specialists to conduct quality reviews of patient medical records on an as‑needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews of patient medical records as requested by Liberty Healthcare.
• Apply subject‑matter expertise in allergy and immunology to assess record quality.
• Perform these duties in a non‑direct‑care capacity; no patient care is involved.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license.
• Board certification in Allergy and Immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
• Peer‑review experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

An initial $500.00 retainer is provided for joining the panel, plus an hourly rate that matches the consultant’s usual billing rate for each hour of service rendered.

Schedule

Work hours are not guaranteed and may range from zero to ten hours per quarter. Consulting can be performed remotely from the physician’s office or home at times convenient to the consultant.
