About the role

This role will own revenue accounting and billing operations in a high-growth, technology-driven environment with a strong emphasis on automation and scalable processes. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen revenue recognition, improve invoicing accuracy, and support audit readiness across a diverse product portfolio. Location

Remote — US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and audit readiness activities, including revenue schedules and journal entries
• Perform detailed contract reviews for revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Own customer billing, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and resolution of exceptions
• Modernize revenue accounting infrastructure with a focus on scalability and automation
• Maintain and evolve revenue recognition policies across diverse product offerings
• Collaborate with teams to improve customer experience and billing accuracy
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in revenue accounting or operations in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, particularly in usage-based billing models
• Proven ownership of end-to-end billing or order-to-cash processes
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale revenue accounting processes in high-growth settings
• Highly technical with a focus on automating workflows and using modern tools
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create scalable processes from scratch
