Alarm Service Technician

We're looking for experienced, dependable candidates to fill the role of Alarm Installation Technician, helping protect homes and businesses in the community. The position is based in Altoona, PA (Park Security Systems) and requires in‑person work at 500 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, and test infrastructure wiring
• Read, execute, and update documentation
• Execute security projects from start to finish
• Train customers on system use
• Complete post‑installation checklists
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders as needed
• Monitor and respond promptly to managed services/central station notifications

Requirements

• Experience on construction sites
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools and hand tools
• Steady work history (≈3 years between jobs)
• Pleasant disposition and high EQ
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Experience with fire alarm inspections
• Valid driver’s license (required)

Pay

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Full time (40 hours per week)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Availability for after‑hours on‑call rotation as assigned
