Alarm Monitoring Operator I

About the role

Securitas Technology is a leading provider of integrated security solutions operating in 40 countries. This full-time position is based in our 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center and requires working the third shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Eastern Time, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in the automation software according to documented procedures.
• Determine appropriate response and contact authorities, customer premises, and designated contacts.
• Log all information into the automation system immediately.
• Answer a multi-line telephone system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience.
• Typing speed of 35+ words per minute.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask under urgency.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Completion of a pre-hire typing assessment.
• Successful completion of a paid training class and final certification exam as a SES Alarm Monitoring Operator.
