Alarm Monitoring Operator

This position is located on the Hobby Lobby campus in Southwest Oklahoma City.

Schedule

• Night Shift: Wednesday 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM, and Thursday through Saturday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Manage alarm events, verify security information, notify and update emergency services (fire and police agencies), and follow up with store managers
• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in the automation software according to documented procedures
• Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately
• Provide alarm reset instructions and basic troubleshooting over the telephone
• Work with service and installers to identify issues, determine the need for repair, and assign the appropriate technician (HVAC, Sprinkler, or Security Alarm)
• Schedule and follow up on repair service calls, providing customer updates
• Ensure confidentiality of customers at all times
• Perform all other assigned duties

Requirements

• Call Center or Alarm Center experience helpful but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of similar or relatable office experience
• PC proficiency with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and the ability to master multiple software programs with high accuracy and precision
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel)
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm during stressful situations
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Strong listening skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to sit for extended hours
• Must be dependable with reliable transportation
