About the role
Monitor facility operations at the Chemical Defense Training Facility (CDTF) at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This position primarily oversees utility equipment and reports any critical condition of equipment to management. Employees will be stationed in an office equipped with computerized monitoring equipment and perform physical checks of all equipment. The role also includes general cleaning and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitors all Building Automated System (BAS) activities.
- Performs checks on chillers, boilers, air handlers, electrical motors, VFD's, water heaters, exhaust fans, autoclaves, washers, dryers, etc.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists maintenance workers in solving work problems.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, good comprehensive and analytical skills.
- Must be able to wear a full-face respirator with accompanying PPE and perform duties if needed.
Requirements
- High school or vocational school graduate or possession of a GED equivalency certificate.
- 2+ years of work experience with facility maintenance.
- 2nd shift required: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
Pay
Pay will be based on experience.
