Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Job Description

Our team supports critical naval and defense missions by planning and executing Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects that enhance and modernize fleet capabilities.

Through close collaboration with government customers and internal engineering teams, we ensure system alterations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule to meet mission needs.

THE WORK

  • Performing technical and programmatic coordination with government customers and internal stakeholders
  • Preparing and delivering cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation to government customers
  • Managing configuration control and maintaining databases of project deliverables
  • Supporting the enhancement, maintenance, and effective use of project engineering tools
  • Aiding project engineering teams in tracking progress, risks, and deliverables throughout the AIT lifecycle
  • Traveling up to 25% to waterfront locations, including Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Pascagoula, MS; and between Lockheed Martin campuses in the Moorestown, NJ area

Who You Are

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with government customers
  • Experience or interest in project engineering, planning, cost estimating, or technical documentation
  • A structured, analytical approach to managing data, deliverables, and configuration-controlled environments
  • The ability to collaborate across engineering, program management, and operations teams
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support project execution
