Airport Transport Supervisor
Role Overview
As an Airport/St Pancras Supervisor responsible for overseeing the arrival and departure of our students at an international airport or St Pancras International, you play a crucial role in ensuring their safety, security, and comfort. This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and a deep sense of responsibility. You will coordinate and manage all aspects of student transportation services at the airport and all airport staff and facilitate a smooth and stress-free experience for the children and their parents or guardians.

Job Specific Personal Specification & Qualifications
- Well travelled and familiar with general airport procedures, including arrivals, departures, security, and airline or Eurostar protocols.
- Highly organised, responsible, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and manage unexpected situations calmly to keep operations running smoothly.
- Communicate confidently with students, parents, staff, and external partners, and use your strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and support on-duty airport staff.
- Stay composed under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, and your enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable manner helps create a welcoming atmosphere for students and colleagues.
- Flexible and adaptable about working hours, including long or irregular shifts at peak times, and your caring, compassionate nature means you prioritise student welfare and wellbeing.
- Work both collaboratively and independently, consistently demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting student safety in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Good command of a European language such as French, German, Italian, or Spanish, and experience working with children or young people, preferably in an international or residential setting.
