About the role
The Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking an experienced Airport Supervisor of Training & Compliance (Bargaining Unit, Local 25) to join our dynamic team at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Responsibilities
- Safeguard and enhance the operational readiness of Logan Airport through operational readiness, workforce training, regulatory compliance, and continuous staff development.
- Foster productive relationships with airlines, tenants, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to address operational challenges, coordinate solutions, and improve the passenger and stakeholder experience.
- Lead and provide sound judgment during emergencies, security incidents, weather events, and operational disruptions, ensuring timely decision-making, effective communication, and coordinated responses that prioritize safety and security.
- Coordinate complex airport operations, special events, seasonal initiatives, and critical operational activities, balancing competing priorities to ensure service continuity, meet regulatory requirements, and deliver a seamless experience for passengers, employees, tenants, and the broader airport community.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in airport operations, airline operations, or a related aviation environment, with demonstrated operational knowledge and industry expertise.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, with the ability to guide teams, coordinate activities, and support operational excellence.
- Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize operational, training, and web-based systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses, certifications, security clearances, and badges, including airfield driving privileges and compliance with Massport's background screening requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
Skills

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
