Airport Services - Site Supervisor - Orlando International Airport C Terminal - MCO-C

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and direction to team members to ensure operational excellence, including personnel scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity plans, material availability, and resolution of employee issues.
• Interact daily with team members to provide support and on-the-job training, improving management, team member satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop processes and documentation to support operational activities.
• Provide leadership in support of Operational Managers in overseeing operational performance.
• Comply with and support company safety programs and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined areas of baggage conveyor systems.
• Specific vision abilities required include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Good hand/eye coordination is required.

Work Environment

The primary work environment is similar to an office setting. However, the Supervisor must be able to perform tasks near moving machinery parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Preference for 5+ years’ experience in airport maintenance services.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
