About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while working collaboratively with Allied Universal teams and acting with integrity, reliability, and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor activity at assigned locations, observe access-control points, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant observations and incidents to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

$25.25 / Hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 10:15 PM - 05:15 AM
- Friday: 10:15 PM - 05:15 AM
