Job Description
Please read all details prior to applying. This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I).
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and checkpoints, verify access permissions as required by site procedures, and document security-related events, observations, and/or daily activity.
- Assist with directing foot traffic, providing general information, and supporting order during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- Pass and ID office background check
- Physical and drug screening

Pay
$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Sun 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
