Airport Agent - CNY

About the role

Airport agents at SkyWest are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service by performing tasks such as ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and resolving customer concerns. The primary responsibilities include loading/unloading luggage, greeting passengers, issuing tickets, checking baggage, boarding flights, assisting passengers without luggage, rebooking passengers, escorting passengers and special-needs customers, marshaling aircraft, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers that arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers
• Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• Service aircraft as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
