Aircraft Washer (Contingent) - 7x7 - Houma, LA

Responsibilities

• Maintaining company aircraft in a clean and presentable condition inside and out
• Being knowledgeable of the damage that can be caused with careless wash procedures
• Identifying the difference between glass and plastic windows
• Not spraying water in the pitot tubes, starter/generator blast tubes, etc.
• Using the wash brush with caution to avoid damaging or knocking off antennas or pitot tubes
• Providing overall attention to safety and alertness during work around and in the aircraft
• Reporting hazardous practices and equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Ground Ops Manager
• Maintaining a clean work area during and after all job functions
• Staying current on manual changes, policy changes, and rules concerning general conduct
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• A Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicles as required
• An organized approach to work with a large and varied workload within all weather conditions
• A willingness to work outdoors
• A general knowledge of maintenance
• Strong customer/interpersonal skills
• A professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive attitude
• The ability to lift 75 pounds
• The ability to operate a forklift
• The ability to travel and work overtime as required by Bristow Management
