Aircraft Repair Tech Specialist

About the role

Monitors and effectively addresses repair vendor performance to commitments and quality/reliability, particularly with regard to high value/complex aircraft components.

Responsibilities

• Reviews technical repair orders, performs detailed analytics, and manages repair vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical or Aerospace Discipline.
• Current A&P Licenses required.
• Five (5) years related experience in an Aircraft Maintenance Environment.
• PMO/Project Leadership Experience.

Skills

• Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance procedures and technical documents.
• Problem solving/QDM experience/Lean Experience.
• Demonstrated contract administration and negotiation experience.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Desired location: Memphis, TN. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
