About the role
The CTL Repair Division at CTL Aerospace is seeking an Aviation On-Wing Travel Repair Technician to join our team in northern Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a full-service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station with over 75 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on aircraft around the world to the highest quality standards.
- Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance procedures.
- Supplemental shop and housekeeping duties as required.
- Build customer relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
- Read and interpret repair procedures.
- Translate repair instructions into action.
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety precautions in the shop environment.
- Achieve quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction skills.
- Show strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- Take ownership for and follow through on full scope of work tasks and projects.
- Multi-task and cross-train in different areas.
- Travel on short notice to domestic and international air locations as required.
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Federal Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) license a plus
- Aircraft composite or sheet metal experience
- Previous military/aviation experience or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus
- Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Driven/self-sufficient/eager to learn and mechanically inclined
- Able to work in a repair environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to cross train and work overtime as business needs require
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Mandatory DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines
