Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
- Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
- Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
- Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- No prior FAA violations.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work location.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components.
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Typically, 7+ years in a 145 Repair Station environment.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
- We Prefer:
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.
- Ability to obtain a repairman Certification.
- Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1.
- Experience with Corridor ERP software.
- Computerized maintenance tracking system experience, (CAMP, Traxall, Cescom, etc.).
- Heavy repair, modification and inspection of both metallic and composite structures experience.
Essential Functions
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs frequently.
- Work in diverse environmental conditions.
