Aircraft Mechanic II (Structures and Sheet Metal)

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft structures and sheet metal components. Works closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection and repair of aircraft structures and sheet metal components
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on aircraft
• Work with engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance procedures
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance or similar field
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized aviation maintenance program
• Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate from the FAA
• Experience with aircraft structure and sheet metal repair techniques
