About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft structures and sheet metal components. Works closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the inspection and repair of aircraft structures and sheet metal components
- Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on aircraft
- Work with engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance procedures
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance or similar field
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized aviation maintenance program
- Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate from the FAA
- Experience with aircraft structure and sheet metal repair techniques
