About the role
The Aircraft Mechanic II (F-18) is responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on F-18 aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on F-18 aircraft
- Completes inspections and tests to ensure aircraft systems are functioning properly
- Repairs and replaces parts as needed using specialized tools and equipment
- Follows safety protocols and adheres to quality control standards
- Works independently and collaborates with other mechanics and engineers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Must meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 147 certification requirements
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Pass a drug screening and background check
Skills
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and components
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
