About the role
The Aircraft Mechanic II position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on various aircraft types. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing mechanical systems to ensure the safety and efficiency of the aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections
- Follow up on work orders and track progress
- Work closely with other mechanics and engineers to resolve complex issues
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in aircraft systems and components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
- $50,000 - $60,000 annually
Schedule
