Aircraft Mechanic II

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic II position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on various aircraft types. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing mechanical systems to ensure the safety and efficiency of the aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections
• Follow up on work orders and track progress
• Work closely with other mechanics and engineers to resolve complex issues
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
