About the role

The T-34 Aircraft Mechanic-1 is responsible for performing maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and servicing of assigned T-34 aircraft within a maintenance environment, ensuring aircraft safety and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shop and flight line maintenance
• Inspect and repair aircraft surfaces, wiring, structures, fuel tanks, canopies, wheels, and tires
• Operate ground support equipment
• Perform corrosion inspection and control
• Use maintenance drawings and blueprints
• Document discrepancies
• Assist in maintenance planning
• Ensure safety compliance and handle hazardous materials
• Maintain professional conduct

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
• Valid driver's license
• At least two years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances
