About the role
The T-34 Aircraft Mechanic-1 is responsible for performing maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and servicing of assigned T-34 aircraft within a maintenance environment, ensuring aircraft safety and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct shop and flight line maintenance
- Inspect and repair aircraft surfaces, wiring, structures, fuel tanks, canopies, wheels, and tires
- Operate ground support equipment
- Perform corrosion inspection and control
- Use maintenance drawings and blueprints
- Document discrepancies
- Assist in maintenance planning
- Ensure safety compliance and handle hazardous materials
- Maintain professional conduct
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- At least two years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances
