Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic will ensure all work is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data. They must adhere to quality maintenance standards in accordance with the company's Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM) and other applicable manuals.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safety-sensitive position subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Review work assigned, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete tasks in a timely manner following applicable manuals without compromising quality or safety.
- Verify calibrated tooling is current and properly noted on paperwork.
- Ensure employees are kept safe by following company policies regarding environmental health and safety.
- Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.
- Maintain premises in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management personnel.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience, large commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and urinary preemployment test for drugs as per DOT regulations required
- Depending on location, required background checks for TSA, FBI, etc. to obtain airport issued badges such as SIDA, AOA, or any other required by airport authority

Work Environment
Hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions.Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs.
- Subject to continual loud noises
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required
