Responsibilities
- Conduct aviation repairs and services to ensure safe and reliable flights.
- Execute maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards.
- Sign for work performed and return equipment and tools to assigned areas.
- Report inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic.
- Initiate proper documentation for repairs and inspections, including detailed descriptions of discrepancies.
- Determine if work is a Required Inspection Item and verify part approval and condition.
- Maintain hangar workshops and other areas in an orderly manner.
- Ensure adherence to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.
Requirements
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid, state-issued Driver's License.
- Ability to use respirators and other personal protective equipment.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience with CRJs preferred.
Qualifications
- Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including eye and hearing protection.
- Able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S.
Skills
- Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Use of test equipment and Company-supplied technical manuals.
- Documentation and reporting of discrepancies.
- Inspection and installation of parts.
- Orderly maintenance of hangar workshops.
- Adherence to the Company's SMS and safety protocols.
