Aircraft Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Conduct aviation repairs and services to ensure safe and reliable flights.
• Execute maintenance procedures in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards.
• Report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic.
• Initiate proper documentation for each repair or inspection.
• Determine if the work to be performed is a Required Inspection Item.
• Verify that parts installed on aircraft or components are approved and free of damage or contamination.
• Maintain hangar workshops and other areas assigned in an orderly manner.
• Ensure adherence to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Requirements

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, state-issued Driver's License.
• Ability to use respirators and other personal protective equipment.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Previous experience with CRJs preferred.

Qualifications

• Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including eye and hearing protection.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Able to demonstrate authorization to work in the US.

Skills

• Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Use of test equipment and Company-supplied technical manuals.
• Documentation and reporting of inoperative or faulty equipment.
• Verification of part approval and condition.
• Maintenance of hangar workshops and other areas.
• Adherence to the Company's SMS and safety protocols.
