About the role

The position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Immediate hiring is available for a Float A&P Mechanic - Rotor Wing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs
  • Provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
  • Regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required
  • Adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew
  • Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and operations team

Requirements

  • EC135 and Bell 407 Maintenance experience
  • Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months during the last 24 months
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
  • Acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs
  • Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

  • High School/GED diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certification preferred
  • Autopilot maintenance experience preferred
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience preferred

Benefits

Sign-On Bonus of $12,500

IA Stipend of $2,080

Float Stipend of $12,500

Starting Salary: $65,239 - $113,480 annually
