Responsibilities

• Assists licensed Aircraft Mechanics in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of aircraft.
• Maintains consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records.
• Interprets manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications.
• Operates all necessary tools and equipment to complete job assignments.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Maintains reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Completes and passes the A&P license exam once eligible.
• Maintains a valid driver's license.
• Displays excellent organizational, attention to detail, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates poise, tact, and professional communication skills.
• Builds productive professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Mechanically inclined, either currently attending aircraft maintenance school or with military background and aircraft maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to take the A&P license exam once eligible.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization and community.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
