Responsibilities
- Assists licensed Aircraft Mechanics in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of aircraft.
- Maintains consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records.
- Interprets manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications.
- Operates all necessary tools and equipment to complete job assignments.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Maintains reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Completes and passes the A&P license exam once eligible.
- Maintains a valid driver's license.
- Displays excellent organizational, attention to detail, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates poise, tact, and professional communication skills.
- Builds productive professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Mechanically inclined, either currently attending aircraft maintenance school or with military background and aircraft maintenance experience.
- Willing and able to take the A&P license exam once eligible.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization and community.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
