About the role
Nutrien is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support our corporate aviation operations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and approved manuals
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and documented properly in maintenance records
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, including avionics, engines, hydraulics, flight controls, and fuel systems
- Inspect, test, and verify serviceability of aircraft components and systems
- Maintain accurate and complete maintenance logs and discrepancy reports
- Conduct receiving inspections on parts and ensure proper inventory control and traceability
- Support aircraft on-site during maintenance events or AOG situations
- Promote a strong safety culture through active participation and adherence to safety policies
- Collaborate with team members across bases to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and best practices
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Travel as required to support operational needs, aircraft movement and hangar duties
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- 8+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience with medium to large business jets is preferred
- Currency/Experience on Citation Sovereign is considered beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance standards
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to support and learn from others
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport with ability to travel internationally
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and general computer applications
- Self-motivated with a positive, safety-first attitude
Qualifications
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required

Pay
The salary range for this role in Illinois is between $91,200 - $143,220. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
