About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding maintenance repair organization dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining some of the most sophisticated civilian aircraft in the world.
Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
- De-fueling aircraft, Engine removal/installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing.
- Notify the Lead Mechanic of any problem areas such as parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness issues.
- Provide a detailed report of work progression and open items to be included in the shift turnover log.
- Properly tag Aircraft components, parts, and panels appropriately stored including racks by aircraft.
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
- A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
- Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
- Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance.
- May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.
Qualifications
- Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation.
- Work with others in a professional manner.
- Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
Skills
- Physical requirements: Lifts 70 lbs., routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting, routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands, work on elevated platforms (up to 40 ft. in the air) using fall protection safety gear, standing for long periods of time, varied positions in and around the aircraft.
- Mental requirements: Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines, troubleshoot or evaluate system operation, work with others in a professional manner.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $30.00 - $60.00. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
Schedule
Rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
